8/02/08 Birch Run, Michigan The Dixie motor Speedway on Saturday Night 8/02/08 had a fantastic and enthusiastic crowd on hand to welcome the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Stars. The night was perfect for racing. Qualifying started out at 5 Pm for the 19 sprinters on hand to take their spot in feature order. Fast time went to Jeff Bloom in the (26) machine with a great run of 12.772. Ryan Litt in the (07L) held in second with a 12.881. The last of the top five qualifiers included Tyler Underwood (4) with a 13.002 and dangerously close to the 12 second mark, 4th was (3A) Mike Austrauskas with a nice spot at 13.039, and the last of the top 5 qualifiers was (88) Jimmy McCune 13.061.
